As far as I know, this is the only published image of the old 13th century Mauchline Kirk that Robert Burns and his wife would have known well.It was demolished in 1827 and replaced with the present building in 1829. Engraved on wood for ‘A Pilgrimage to the Land of Burns’ by Hew Ainslie, 1822
