This portrait is a facsimile, made by line block, of the original woodcut print made in 1580 for the famous ‘Icones’ of Theodore Beza. The book contained “contemporary portraits of reformers of religion and letters”. This print was published in the reprint of ‘Beza’s Icones’, London 1911.
