Description

The canal shown at the eastern end of St Pierre church was filled in and became a road around the middle of the 19th century.
Drawn by Clarkson Stanfield ARA and engraved by R. Brandard for ‘Travelling Sketches on the Sea-Coasts of France’ being Heath’s Picturesque Annual for 1834, London 1834. Paper size 195 x 122 mm.
